I liked that the story told about something that young children could understand. I bought this book for my grandchildren. So far, I've read it only to the two year old, who normally doesn't sit long to listen to a story. This book she sat through, being more interested in the numbered pages, counting as I turned the pages. So, I got an added perk from it with this grandchild. I can't wait to read it to her to understand the story. Clammy is just adorable!
